Hannah Burgos

Chief Executive Officer

Hannah Burgos (she/her) is a Filipino-American filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist based in San Francisco. She has worked in the film and advertising industries for over a decade in San Francisco, New York and Los Angeles. Her personal work focuses on empiricism, anthropological curiosities, eroticism, mental health, artful horror, absurdity, family dynamics, and difficult-to-identify strange feelings. Her vision to begin Guava Court was sparked by a careful combination of her upbringing in Vallejo, California, where the dreamers are plenty but the resources are few; struggling as a starving artist for years, before working full time in tech; and seeing that equity becomes real through intention and action. She believes that building community and helping others is actually the most important creative work we will do in our lifetimes.
