our mission
MISSION STATEMENT
Guava Court is a 501(c)3 non-profit built to amplify the voices of artists and small businesses in marginalized communities. We do this through the creation of unique and impactful digital media. Our team of industry professionals specialize in short-form films, photography and audio storytelling, that help up-and-coming artists and business owners get seen, be heard, and grow.
OUR PROGRAMS
Through our projects, we provide independent artists and entrepreneurs with high-quality media to amplify their voices and nurture growth.
Through our fellowship, we mentor up-and-coming creatives by offering hands-on experience in various creative and media production-based roles. Fellows work alongside industry professionals, honing their craft while building real-world skills.
Through our fiscal sponsorship, we enable emerging artists through financial support, so they can focus on achieving their creative potential without budgetary restraint.
Through our workshops and events, we cultivate a vibrant community, where people from all walks of life can explore their artistry through games, exercises, and immersive experiences, while leaving with a renewed sense of discovery.
At our core, we’re here to build meaningful connections, while generating a sense of curiosity for those who use, encounter and engage with our work. We create spaces where creativity thrives, questions are welcomed, and self-expression is celebrated—all while helping creatives develop valuable skills they need to take their careers further.

Your Donations
The generous donations we receive are used to fund projects from end-to-end. Some examples of these expenses include: production related expenses (studio equipment, shooting locations, production means, craft services, props, wardrobe, transportation, crew members, talent); post-production related expenses (devices, software and applications, office supplies, microphones, external hard drives, VFX artists, colorists, editors, animators); events and related expenses (advertising, film festival expenses, electronic press kits, creative and writing workshops, screenings); and Guava Court housekeeping (website maintenance, applications and software, subscriptions, administrative work and tools, legal fees, social media upkeep).
We thank you for your curiosity and for your support!
